■ Care Instructions
Silver products can develop dullness and blackening due to a reaction called sulfidation caused by skin oils during wear and airborne components, so we recommend regular maintenance.
Most DEAL DESIGN jewelry features an "antiqued finish" that creates a three-dimensional effect with shading.
If you use commercially available dip-type liquid cleaners, they will remove the darkened shading, compromising the original texture of the product. Therefore, we recommend cleaning with our dedicated silver polish (polishing cloth).
On days when you sweat a lot, or after several days of wear, polish the item promptly. If you won't be wearing it for a while, storing it in individual zippered bags will help maintain its pristine condition for longer.
■ If the item has completely discolored
Minor dullness and blackening can be easily removed, but if the tarnish is severe, we also offer the following cleaning service (for a fee) using specialized equipment. If you are interested, please contact us once.
<Precautions for use>
・Avoid bathing in hot springs while wearing silver products, as this may cause discoloration.
・It is recommended to remove jewelry during strenuous exercise or sports, as there is a risk of deformation or damage.
・Avoid using liquid silver cleaners, as they can remove antiqued finishes and potentially discolor stones.
・For items with stones, please handle with care as impact during wear may cause stones to fall out or break.
・For coated items, polishing with abrasive cloths will remove the coating. Please polish gently with a soft, fine-textured cloth.
・Coatings on coated items may wear off with use. Please be careful of friction with clothing, contact with hard objects, and adhesion of cosmetics or hairspray. If the coating peels off, re-coating repair (for a fee) is also available.
■ About Leather Products
The leather used by DEAL DESIGN is natural leather, with the exception of some products. Therefore, the leather may have minor scratches, wrinkles, grain, and tiger stripes. These are proof that it is genuine leather, and we hope you will enjoy the original texture of the leather.
Since the leather quality is not uniform, the extent of wrinkles and scratches will vary even on different parts of the same product. Also, in areas where the flesh side (the back of the leather) is visible, the fibers may stand up and become fuzzy.
Most of DEAL DESIGN's leather products are completed one by one by craftsmen using sewing machines and handcrafting.
During the manufacturing process, please note that unavoidable marks from sewing machines or other tools may appear on both the front and back surfaces of the leather.
■ Care Instructions
For light surface dirt, we recommend gently wiping it with a dry, soft, fine-grained cloth, or lightly tapping it with a clean part of a regular eraser to remove the dirt. (If using an eraser, be careful not to rub it.)
If it gets wet, quickly and gently pat it dry with a soft cloth and air dry it in a well-ventilated area.
Storing it in a humid place while dirty can cause mold. Please wrap it in breathable cloth or paper and store it in a well-ventilated area.
<Usage Precautions>
・Leather products are susceptible to moisture, and if they get wet, stains or blisters may occur.
・Please note that prolonged exposure to high temperatures and humidity may cause deformation, discoloration, or mold.
・Prolonged exposure to UV light may cause color fading or discoloration.
・Applying excessive force or bending it extremely may cause the leather surface to crack.
・If using commercially available oil, it may cause stains, so please test it on an inconspicuous area before use.
・Color transfer may occur due to friction with clothing.
・When polishing silver parts, be careful not to let polishing cloths or other materials touch the leather. If they contain abrasives, they may scratch the leather or peel off the surface.
DEAL DESIGN products can be repaired at all directly managed stores or by mail to the online store headquarters.
If you would like a repair, please bring the item to your nearest directly managed store, or if you are unable to visit, please send the item to the online store headquarters (address below) first.
Once the item arrives, we will check its condition and contact you with an accurate estimate, payment methods for repair costs, and return schedule.
When mailing the item, please include a simple note with the following information:
1. Your name 2. Contact information 3. Return address 4. Desired service (e.g., stone resetting repair, etc.)
* Shoppers and accessories that came with the purchase are not necessary. Please return only the product itself. (Please protect the product with cushioning material or the included box when sending it to prevent damage during shipping.)
* Please note that the customer is responsible for the round-trip shipping costs.
