As the title suggests, today I'd like to delve deeper into the history of King Gate, from its inception to the present, something I've been wanting to write about for a long time, in the hope that it will help everyone learn more about the appeal of King Gate.
If you are reading this blog, you probably already know that "King Gate" is one of the most popular motifs at DEAL DESIGN.
It is sometimes abbreviated to "KG," but let's start by introducing the origin and background of King Gate.
This King Gate is still popular and loved by many people, and a wide range of derivative designs are available.
The motif of "King Gate" is, as the name suggests, a "gate."
This is an original design by DEAL DESIGN that combines the majestic Western gate with a touch of lily.
The first work that became the origin of King Gate was born in 2012!
It's been about 14 years already.
It all started 14 years ago when it was launched in the 2012 A/W collection called "KINGDOM GARDEN"!
Here's a picture of the collection at the time.
King Gate was one of the collections at the time that incorporated design sources symbolizing UK fashion culture, royal families, and palaces.
I like the underlying theme or concept of this collection, which is quite interesting; it's actually a collection that embodies designs based on a fantasy story!
The fantasy story is
"The story takes place in medieval Europe, where a thief comes to steal the treasures of a royal palace.
After passing through the Queen's Gate, a prestigious gate that seems to protect the palace gardens,
A majestic gate (King's Gate) stands in front of the palace.
Passing through the gate, the palace door, decorated with lion knockers symbolizing power, opens .
A thief sneaks into the palace and steals the crown, a symbol of royalty.
But he was captured by the knight and thrown into prison."

We have released key items that will play a part in this fantasy story!
And I'm gonna escape from prison
Based on this concept, the following year's Answer Collection was released with a prison theme called "GRID JAIL."
Some of you may already know this, but there is actually a history behind King Gate.
Isn't that interesting?
Now, let's take a look at some of King Gate's most popular products.
First, here is the original, as mentioned at the beginning.
"King Gate Ring" ￥63,800-
It exudes a majestic atmosphere, and the intricately intertwined lines and the iron cross on the side are in perfect harmony, resulting in a high level of perfection.
The lining and the volume are exquisite! It's a masterpiece that I've been using for many years!
Starting with this "King Gate Ring", various items have been branched out.
Among them, the product that we would like you to pay particular attention to is this one, which is frequently worn by our staff!
"Huge Gate Ring" ¥121,000
This is the most voluminous ring in the brand's history.
Compared to the original King Gate, the rim is oval, giving it a sleeker design.
This Huge Gate ring was created as a model to commemorate the brand's 15th anniversary, and is a rare ring with the anniversary engraved on the inside.
The presence when worn is truly outstanding!
We recommend wearing it on your main fingers, such as your middle or index finger, and coordinating your outfit around this Huge Gate Ring, as it will create a cohesive look.

Next, we will introduce the pendant series.
First off, here's a typical example!
"King Gate Top: MEDIUM" ￥19,800-
The key point is that it is slightly different from Huge Gate Rings and the like, in that it is formed in a round shape.
Since it hangs from a chain, this shape looks better when worn around the chest!
This top comes in three sizes.
It may be difficult to convey the three sizes in the image, so if you would like, please compare them in store.

Baby gate padlock ￥20,900-
This top features a padlock design that is typical of DEAL DESIGN.
The inside is hollow, so it's light but also has a deep feel!
Lily was adopted by the Vatican.
The back of the case is also nicely designed with an iron cross logo, and there is even an iron cross keyhole design on the bottom!
Of course, it can be worn alone, but many people also wear it with other tops.
Next,
"KG Dagger: Small" ￥16,500-
The top features a dagger tip extending from the bottom of the King Gate. Another point is that the King Gate has been adapted to fit the dagger.
The logo is engraved in a Gothic font on the blade, giving it a masculine feel.
This is the EX size, and from the left, there are four sizes available: large, medium, and small.
In addition, there are two sizes of swords with stones on the blade!
The design remains the same, but the stones shine brilliantly, adding elegance to the rugged look of this item!

This bracelet is made up of eight ball-shaped King Gates.
The hook with the horseshoe logo is also cool!
The length is adjustable, so it's easy to wear even for those with thin wrists, and the King Gate is engraved on both sides, so it doesn't have to be a hassle even if it's turned inside out!
For those who are knowledgeable, it is a must to customize it by extending it by about two frames and letting the ends hang down.
This is a great item for layering!
Next up is the leather bracelet!

This leather bracelet features a bold King Gate buckle that will catch your eye.
We use high-quality leather that is both firm and flexible, and we pay particular attention to the stitching!
The backsides of the two pieces of leather are joined together and the sides are woven together, so the leather surfaces face outwards on both sides. This gives the corners rounded and makes the bag feel very comfortable against the skin.

When I came to a DEAL DESIGN store and asked, "Which is the coolest chain?"
I think all of our staff would probably answer "Gate Screw Chain: Flat Link." Maybe...

"King Gate Roller Belt" ￥ASK
Here too, the king gate is formed in a cylindrical shape, so it is hollow inside and the king gate is also carved in an openwork style.
This cylinder itself is not welded and is movable, so it rotates like a roller when tightening the belt, allowing the belt to pass through smoothly!
It blends in easily with casual and fashionable outfits, and I often wear it with suits for weddings, so it stands out even with semi-formal outfits like that and looks really cool!
